Purdue’s PMP® Exam Preparation online course is designed for the experienced project manager, who wishes to build a comprehensive study plan, and wants to better prepare for the PMP® Exam. This particular offering is an instructor-led, 100 percent online course. Enrollment includes 90-day access to all of the course material, which is 100% aligned to the Project Management Institute’s PMP® Exam Prep content.
PMP® Exam Preparation, an in-depth, live, virtual course, is one of three project management online courses offered by Purdue Online Engineering.
This offering assumes you already meet the criteria necessary to qualify to take the exam. You must be an experienced project manager (36 months of experience leading projects within the past eight years with a four-year degree). Before you may qualify to take the PMP® Exam, PMI also requires that you have at least 35 hours of project management education/training, which this course fulfills. This course assumes you are already familiar with the content of the PMBOK® Guide. For all prerequisites, please visit: PMI's Website for more detailed information on the PMP® exam, offered by Project Management Institute (PMI).
Highly-qualified learners use this study, prep, and review course as a direct option on the path towards taking the PMP® Exam, a 180-question test.
Purdue also provides complimentary 90-day access to the PMtraining™ online practice test website (a $68 value).
As a graduate of Purdue’s PMP® Exam Preparation course, you should have a firm understanding of the content of the exam, know where you need to study more, and have a study plan in place to get yourself prepared. Independent study following successful completion of the course is required to pass the PMP® Exam.
In case you haven't heard, since January 2, 2021, about half of the examination will represent predictive project management approaches and the other half will represent agile or hybrid approaches. Purdue's Agile Certificate online course is also available for an additional fee. For more information, please visit:
Purdue Agile Certificate.
PMI, PMP, and PMBOK are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc.
