Turfgrass Pest Management is a comprehensive training program on turfgrass management and the importance of integrated pest management in turfgrass. You will study chemical pesticides and the environmental fate of pesticides; equipment and calibration; turfgrass diseases and their control; and the identification, biology, and management of weeds, diseases, insects, and vertebrate pests in both warm- and cool-season turfgrass.

You may enroll at any time. You will have 12 months to complete the course. You should expect to study three to five hours per lesson. If you cannot complete the course in 12 months, you may purchase a one-time, six-month extension for $50. Regardless of when it is purchased, the six-month extension begins the day after the course expires. This course is eligible to be transferred to another student if no lessons have been submitted for grading by correspondence. The original course expiration date will apply to the alternate student.
Students who wish to return a course after all materials are received back at Purdue in new condition will receive a pro-rated fee refund according to the following schedule. Shipping fees will not be refunded.
- For online courses, once you start the program there is no refund.
- Within 15 days from the date of enrollment: 100%
- 15 – 30 days after the date of enrollment: 50%
- 30 days after the date of enrollment: No refund.
