COURSE DESCRIPTION
Description:
The RECOVER Certification course provides foundational training in small animal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) using the standardized, evidence based RECOVER (Reassessment Campaign on Veterinary Resuscitation) guidelines. This course introduces the principles of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS), including patient assessment, high quality chest compressions, ventilation techniques, emergency drug use, and post–cardiac arrest care. Learners will complete interactive online modules followed by skills assessments designed to build competence and confidence in responding to cardiopulmonary arrest in clinical settings. Successful completion of the course results in official RECOVER certification, recognized internationally as the veterinary standard for CPR training.
Registration in this course is subject to the Purdue University Online Non-Credit Policies.
