Description:
The MPJE Prep Course Consists of 2 Online Written Modules:
This review covers information relevant to pharmacy practice within federal law. Federal law often provides the foundation for practice. Since federal law provides a basic foundation, you may find the requirements are different for federal law than what you know from practicing in a particular state. These are the minimum requirements for practice across all jurisdictions in the United States, and states provide more detailed information about practicing within a particular state. Some states rely heavily on federal requirements, where other states provide more guidance in different areas. Indiana is a state that relies heavily on federal interpretations so this sets the foundation for the review of Indiana pharmacy law in the next module.
- Learning Objectives
- Identify and locate laws applicable to pharmacy practice federally.
- Review applicable federal laws relevant to the practice of pharmacy.

The MPJE expects you to know the strictest law on a topic; therefore, Indiana information covered is always stricter than the federal laws.
