Module Four: Teaching a FOSS lesson in grades 5-8
This course is designed for any teacher of grades 5-8 who is teaching with the FOSS curriculum. In this course, you will be able to understand FOSS and its alignment with Indiana standards, understand the layout of the FOSS Teaching Guide, identify how to use a sample lesson plan from the FOSS Teaching Guide along with the ISI Notebooking Framework, and observe a sample lesson plan in action. This course will use Mixtures and Solutions as an example, but the organization of curricular materials from this developer at these grade levels is the same across grade levels 5-8.
