Model-based Certificate Program
The model-based definition certificate program is made up of four courses. All four courses must be completed in order to earn the certificate from Purdue University. Each course will be given an appropriate number of continuing education credits (CEU) based on the work required for the course and any assessment that may be given. Program Timing and Registration
The MBD programs will be offered in two forms: instructor-led or self-paced, with the instructor-led course option being available at specific recurring times and the self-paced option being readily available upon demand.
Once the student has a confirmation for fees paid, a virtual environment will be created for their use in the program, and they will be contacted via email with information regarding access credentials to Purdue’s online course management system and access to course content and CAD tool platforms.

- Up to 1 week prior to class start - full refund
- Inside 1 week of class start - 50%
- After start of class - 0%
- May substitute another student
Requests to drop this course must be submitted to noncredit@purdue.edu.
