BSFM 200 Building Financial Transactions Elements and Rules

Building Financial Transaction Elements and Rules is designed to provide a foundational understanding of accounting pricipals and financial transactions at Purdue University. This course identifies and defines transaction elements, including general ledger account categories, fund attributes, cost centers, RIO and SIOs. Participants will examine how transaction elements are stored in the different SAP modules and learn transaction rules for fund accounting.

Participants will:
identify and define transaction elements.
identify and summarize the organization of the four SAP ledgers.
apply transaction rules to various scenarios.
