In-Person Event (11/14); Virtual Event (2/19)
This workshop introduces attendees to the university's accessibility standards and guidelines, and provides hands-on experience in creating and testing a website for accessibility in a WYSIWYG environment. We will cover common accessibility challenges like color contrast, keyboard navigation, and website structure, while providing strategies for creating accessible images, audio and video for the web. Attendees should have some experience creating and managing their own websites before attending.
This workshop is open to Purdue faculty, graduate students, and administration personnel.
