Session Type: Virtual Event
Intended Audience: This workshop is for faculty who want to ensure that students are engaging with their course videos.
Worried that your students aren’t paying attention to your course videos? In-Video Quizzing in Kaltura may be the solution.
One of the biggest concerns for faculty delivering online, hybrid or flipped classes is that students aren’t watching or paying attention to the videos they have uploaded. Kaltura, Purdue’s video hosting service, offers In-Video Quizzing, which requires students to answer questions embedded inside your course videos and can improve both attention and retention. This workshop will introduce faculty to both In-Video Quizzing and Analytics, and cover how to use them in your Brightspace course.
- Know the benefits of in-video quizzing
- Be able to set up an in-video quiz using the Kaltura editor
- Know how to deploy a video with a quiz inside your Brightspace course
- Be able to interpret the analytic data from in-video quizzes
