COURSE DESCRIPTION
Description:
This course examines the intellectual property (IP) challenges that arise in collaborative research and development across business, academic, and government environments. Learners will explore practical issues related to infringements, contractual protections, partnership structures, and innovation models.
- Explain attributes and application landscape of Intellectual Property Life Cycle for internal offerings, licensing In-and Out opportunities, infringements, and associated risks and rewards.
- Analyze and apply strategic pathways to execute Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), and Joint Development Agreements (JDAs) as these relate to work for hire and collaborative research and development.
