The Project Management Essentials online course is designed for the project manager who would like to build a solid foundation of project management knowledge and skills. This particular offering is an instructor-led, 100 percent online, 8-week course. Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn 3.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from Purdue University, equivalent to 35 contact hours or 35 Professional Development Units (PDUs). Students use this foundational course as a strong starting point on the path towards taking the PMP® exam through Project Management Institute (PMI). Before you can qualify to take the PMP® Exam, PMI requires that you have at least 35 hours of project management education, so this course will help you with meeting one of the prerequisites for taking the exam.
Project Management Essentials is typically coupled with the
PMP® Exam Preparation
