Description:
In this course, you learn the basics of Multivariable Calculus (typically covered in Calculus III) from an applied perspective. Learning outcomes include how to represent functions in three dimensions and apply the fundamental tools of calculus to them. The course is taught from an applied perspective and with step-by-step examples and solutions.
The course is self-paced and organized into modules, each featuring instructional videos and quizzes that should be completed in order, as each module builds upon the previous one. Feedback is provided through a grading system similar to academic courses, enabling learners to evaluate their progress. Please note that the grade applies only to this noncredit course and will not be listed on your official academic transcript. A passing grade of 70% demonstrates competency, which is assessed through quizzes and a final exam. There are 9 quizzes, accounting for 30% of the grade, and each quiz allows two attempts. The final exam, which is worth 70% of the grade, can be taken twice, with the average score recorded. All assessments are multiple-choice and timed, with scores available immediately after completion.
Leaners will have access to the course for 180 days after registration.
