Get the tools you need to implement or further develop SEL programs at your school. Participants will learn to design and implement multi-tiered class wide, small group, and individualized systems of support to promote social emotional learning for Pre-K to 6th grade students. Learn best practices, and where to find resources. This workshop gives you the opportunity to embed SEL into your classroom to build positive relationships and social skills in your students. Aligned with the CASEL framework, this SEL workshop will give you the skills to promote student self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision making, relationship skills, and social awareness.
Participants will earn a certificate of completion. The certificate is evidence of successful completion of an online teacher development preparation course. Purdue University College of Education recommends 5 professional growth points (PGP) for advanced teacher preparation.
