Course 1: Emerging Contaminants
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Description:
Emerging contaminants are environmental hazards which pose a challenge to health and safety professionals due to limited information on their toxicity and/or recommended guidelines. In this course, participants will complete a series of lessons designed to prepare them to identify, characterize, and address various emerging hazardous contaminants. This is the first of three courses to be developed as part of the Distance Education and Training on Emerging Contaminants and Technologies (DETECT) project.
