The electric go-kart summer camp will provide you with a background of electric vehicles and the technology associated with them.
You will be driving the kart 3 times- during practice runs and during the endurance test.
You will be on team with 3 other students. Your team will be mentored by a Purdue student while working on the kart, developing an understanding of vehicle basics and a strategy for power management.
After two days of classroom/lecture, your team will take your go-kart to a local track and complete an endurance test.
The goal is to complete the test in the minimum amount of time. Points will be awarded both for energy used (and saved) and completion time.
