Description:
Be aware at this time that we are moving this course to HSPA's new 4th edition Sterile Processing Leadership manual. As such we have turned off the enrollment options that include the 3rd edition textbook since HSPA no longer offers the 3rd edition used for this course. If you already have a copy of that manual, or are able to get access to one, you can still enroll using the Course w/no Books fee. We will have news about the updated course in the coming weeks.
Prepare yourself for the HSPA Certification in Healthcare Leadership (CHL) exam. This online course leads central service professionals through the Central Service Leadership Manual and Workbook to prepare them for a leadership position in the central service field.
Optionally, the fee of $350 can be chosen if you already own the HSPA 3rd Edition Central Service Leadership Manual. This book is required for the course, so only choose this option if you already have the book.
A score of 70 percent or higher on the proctored final examination is considered a passing grade. You have two opportunities to pass the final examination.
Once you pass the final examination, you will receive a certificate of achievement from Purdue University. Please visit the HSPA Website for more information about HSPA Certification requirements.
This course should be completed within 12 months. If you cannot complete the course in that time frame a one time six month extension can be purchased for $50.
If you do not receive a passing grade on the final exam, you may re-enroll in the course at a reduced rate. Please contact us for more details.
