Global Regulation of Artificial Intelligence
Micro-credential
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Description:
Citizens and governments around the world are asking for strong regulation of AI. But what does this mean in practice? Are there clear models of AI regulation that are already emerging? What major risks are they responding to? This micro-credential will consider these questions through four modules. The first two modules will overview the demands for AI regulation and the relevant global frameworks for business and human rights. The last two modules will evaluate the supply of AI regulation in the fast-developing European and American models. By the end of the course, students should be better equipped to anticipate and comply with future AI regulation in a global context.
Registration in this course is subject to the Purdue University Online Non-Credit Policies.
